19-Dec-02 More expeditions!
It seems we have spawned a monster! The response to this project has been overwhelming, and once again we must thanks everyone who has helped us making it such a success.
26-Nov-02 Thanks
26-Nov-02 Homecoming
Anyone unfortunate enough to be at Terminal Three, Heathrow Airport, on Monday 24th November, would have been treated to the distressing sight of thirteen tramps shambling through the gate. Our bags are trashed, our kit should be consigned to the nearest skip, and our wetsuits smell like roadkill. A momentous trip had finally come to an end, and along with the tans and the body odour, we all have enough memories to last a lifetime. Tremendous stuff.
23-Nov-02 Swimming with dolphins

How could we finish something like this? What could provide a suitable finale? Well, the answer proved to be located on the Little Bahamas Banks, about sixty miles east of the Florida coast. Here, aboard the vessel Dream Too and working with the Dolphin Dream Team, we rocked and rolled for three days as we motored around looking for dolphins. The skipper, Scott Smith, is the best in the business at putting divers in the right place with dolphins, and sure enough on day three, we found ourselves crammed along the railing shouting and putting like the excitable children we are.

18-Nov-02 It's big, it's blue, and it's a hole
After another night in Guayaquil, the team has moved to Belize, and our eagerly anticipated encounter with the famous Blue Hole. We were hosted by the Belize Academy of Diving, and stayed at the sumptious Caribe Island Resort.
11-Nov-02 Martin´s Ailments , Paul´s Rugby Tackles, Asgeir´s Gymnastics
Not only is the kit getting a hammering being lugged around the world on and off planes, dive boats and transfer buses, but the team too is gradually beginning to show signs of wear and tear.  Martin is gradually working through each of his muscle groups achieving a quite spectacular mountain of a bruise from tripping over a rope whilst white water rafting back in Cairns
11-Nov-02 Team Loses Kit
Day two, however, had a slight dampener on it when the team returned from the dives, had supper and then discovered that 3 chalets had been broken into and various items stolen including a laptop computer, day bags, discmans, dive computers and cameras.
08-Nov-02 Full Circle Meets Volcanic Eruption
The project has had an interesting time trying to circumnavigate the volcanic mischief in Quito, our original destination on the mainland of Ecuador from where we were to be leaving for the Galapagos. The expedition was diverted en masse to a town called Guayaquil, arriving to a scene of apocalyptic travel chaos as various airlines disgorged bewildered plane loads into a semi built airport. Claiming your baggage involved clambering around the world`s narrowest baggage carousel, so small in fact that luggage pile ups were frequent and kit avalanches dotted the arrivals hall.
07-Nov-02 The Poor Knights Islands - New Zealand
What can you say about the Poor Knights, and the dive centre who hosted us there? Both were simply magnificent, with the diving breathtaking and the service off the scale (the correct end of the scale I hasten to add).
03-Nov-02 Cairns Dive Centre
Bam! Reality bites after a series of tropical paradise's and exotic hideaways. Cairn's is loud, proud, and full of life, and the team experienced something of a culture shock after the tranquility of Micronesia.
03-Nov-02 The Project Starts to Take it's Toll...
17-Oct-02 Aggie's 100th Dive
Team member Aggie Withers dived her 100th Dive
16-Oct-02 The Mantas in Yap
Manta Ray Bay Hotel and the attached dive centre Yap Divers established in 1986 by Bill Acker, and rapidly became the worldwide mecca for divers wanting to experience guaranteed encounters with mantas.
12-Oct-02 Palau's Blue Corner
Of the hundreds of dive sites available in Palau, there were three in particular that the team wanted to experience. The first was jellyfish lake, a biological phenomenon that is a must-see for any visitor. The second was chandelier cave, a cave system meandering into the heart of the islands, notable in that it could be explored by relatively inexperienced divers. The last, and by no means least, was Blue Corner.
07-Oct-02 Island Time
The team arrived in Malawi somewhat shell shocked from the rigors of Aliwal Shoal. The Lake Malawi National Park with the islands of Domwe and Mumbo offered a place to relax shattered nerves and a large contrast to the previous diving experiences.
29-Sep-02 Ragged Tooth Sharks
It's week 3 and the team fly into Durban from Cape Town to explore the depths and marine life of Aliwal Shoal courtesy of our hosts, Dive South, working in conjunction with local operator, Aliwal Dive Charters.
19-Sep-02 Cape Fur Seals
After a couple of days diving with the Great Whites, the team set out to dive with Cape Fur Seals off the coast of Kleinsbaii on South Africa's Cape.
17-Sep-02 Great White Shark Diving
The team is nervous as we set off towards Dyer Island to anchor, sit and wait for the greatest predator of them all, the Great White.
01-Jul-02 Pioneering global diving expedition gears up for departure
